She chose this practice area because she finds family law to be the most rewarding. She is committed to helping people improve their lives and the lives of their children.


Renea is a compassionate and zealous advocate. Renea brings her clients the benefit of a highly skilled and knowledgeable family law specialist, with the added bonus of an understanding and kind ear. Renea will never keep you in the dark. She understands that litigation is an anxiety-producing time. That is why she is committed to keeping her clients informed and involved at every step in the process - whether the goal is litigation or negotiation. 


Family Law has been Renea's primary practice area since 2010. She earned her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University in 2009. Her passion for family law began in law school - during that time, she worked in the Children's Advocacy Clinic and Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, and saw firsthand how important healthy family dynamics are for successful children and adults. 


 When Renea is not working hard for her clients, you will find her spending time withher family, spoiling her neices and nephew, traveling, or curled up with a good book! Renea is the senior attorney of our Oakland County office, and lives in metro-Detroit.

  • Achieved reimbursement of marital assets totaling approximately $212,000 that were wasted/concealed/dissipated by the opposing party during the marriage.
  • Achieved order for suspension of parenting time followed by long term supervised parenting in a case where opposing party had alcohol and substance abuse addiction to prescribed medication.
  • Achieved sole legal and sole physical custody after trial where father tried to change son’s residence to Ohio and refused to communicate or co-parent with mother.
  • Successfully defended child abuse allegations after trial where father falsely accused of abuse by 15-year-old son.
